Product description
Designed to keep up with real life, the Roomba 105X Robot delivers powerful, intelligent cleaning that keeps up with daily messes—without adding to your to‑do list. With kids tracking in dirt, pets shedding fur, and crumbs appearing between meals, its 70X more power‑lifting suction* pulls embedded dust, dander, and pet hair from both carpets and hard floors, leaving surfaces noticeably cleaner and comfortable under bare feet. The advanced 3‑Stage Cleaning System combines strong suction with a Multi‑Surface brush and an Edge‑Sweeping brush to capture debris along walls, baseboards, and in corners where pet hair and dirt tend to collect. Using ClearView™ LiDAR mapping and navigation, the robot quickly learns your home’s layout, then cleans efficiently in organized rows while smoothly avoiding furniture, toys, and pet bowls, with specialized sensors to help prevent falls down stairs. Cleaning is fully customizable to fit your family’s routine—schedule automatic cleans during school hours, target high‑traffic rooms like kitchens and entryways, adjust suction for pet‑heavy areas, or add extra passes where messes build up using the easy‑to‑use Roomba Home App. When spills or crumbs happen, Spot Cleaning focuses extra attention on problem areas by repeatedly cleaning one spot for up to five minutes. You can start or stop a clean your way—through the app, onboard buttons, or simply by asking your voice assistant‑enabled device. Built to be truly hands‑free, the Roomba 105X returns to its dock to recharge when needed, then resumes cleaning right where it left off to finish the job. With a sleek, modern design that blends easily into family spaces and reliable Wi‑Fi connectivity for consistent performance, the Roomba 105X Vac Robot helps keep up with life’s messes—so you can spend more time with your family and pets, not cleaning up after them.*Compared to Roomba 600 series robots. Great fun
Amazon customer· Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2026My original Roomba was manufactured 6 04 2001 and yes, it still works. A very early product. It is noisy, a tad rattly and gets hung up all too often. There were years when I didn’t use it, but I’ve been using it pretty often every day for the last six months or so. Because of the afore mentioned two problems I decided to purchase a new one during Prime Days. I got a low end Roomba, it isn’t self cleaning, but it does the job. I love the mapping and that I can see where it goes and where it’s been and how to find it if it gets stuck (very rare and always because of cords), which isn’t as often as the pretty old original Roomba. In fact, it usually extracts itself from its problems and keeps on going. My only problem with it is basically one problem. It is very slow charging seems to me and that charge doesn’t even get me through an entire room, when the power level reaches 28%~38% it heads home. Now that’s nice, but it doesn’t seem to be able to complete an entire room in my house without the need to recharge. Once charged it does finishs the job. Would I buy it again? Yes and as noted that once it is recharged it heads out on its own to finish the job. My old roomba took a very random approach to cleaning, seldom made it home, but still picked up as much dirt and maybe more than the new one which touts 70% more suction. Compared to ? Still I love the new mapping tech and would recommend it. I do hope that somehow, miraculously, over time the battery charge will improve. The photo is from the app and shows in real time what is happening. 9 people found this

Deep cleans like my Shark
ASV Company· Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2026A surprisingly good cleaner. I have paid a great deal more for less effective cleaners. The mapping is great and extremely useful as I can select which room to clean, so it is not under foot when I am working. It surprised me when it returned to charge before it finished. However, after charging it continued where it left off. I was shocked at the amount of fur it cleaned up, on wood, tile and carpet. For my needs this is an excellent device. A longer battery life would make this device perfect. Great value for the money. 2 people found this

Saves time cleaning!!
Amazon customer· Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2026The amount of hair this picks up is phenomenal!! I love the dual feature as well. Marked one star off because you have to buy a special soap, so otherwise it’s just using water on the floors but it still does a good job mopping. Super easy to keep the wheels and other parts clean and overall easy to dump out the bin. The navigation feature makes the price worth it, as you can choose a certain spot to spot clean instead of having it teclean the entire house. You can also set it up to clean on certain days, times, and what type of clean you want it to do. I have two cats and having this makes me feel more sane and the air more breathable. It does tend to get stuck frequently on small rugs, and cords so do be weary of that. One person found this

Read this and have realistic expectations
Amazon customer· Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2021If you’re looking to never use a hand vacuum ever again, then this is not for you; because you will be severely disappointed. This is a machine that will bump its’ way around your home and travel in no particular direction. However, that is exactly what you signed up for. This model of the Roomba does not have a mapping feature, so to ask why it wonders around aimlessly is pointless. If you’re looking for a machine that’s going to replace your hand vacuum forever and clean as efficiently as a cleaning service, then you might need to look at the $700+ models that DOES have a mapping feature and higher specs. This $200+ is more or less a base model and is not ever going to replace your hand vacuum. I have myself and one dog in a 700 sq ft apartment (no stairs; but lots of floor rugs!) There is a consistent layer of dog and human hairs on the carpet and floorboards. What the Roomba does, is it zooms around my apartment during the week, picking up stray hairs and dust bunnies as well as get under the coffee tables and cupboards. Getting to those harder to reach places; or items of furniture I’m always too lazy to move out of the way to vacuum. This means that in between the times that I use my hand vacuum (about once a week), I don’t have a crazy amount of dog hair floating around and I don’t need to go out of my way to vacuum in those hard to reach places. It has had no trouble at all climbing over all of my area rug, doormats, bathroom rugs (high pile with tassels!) or any of the multiple smaller area rugs in the hallway or the bedroom. You do need to clean the dustbin out after each use, and it says that as part of the maintenance. Running this Roomba for an hour in my 700 sq ft apartment, with one dog and one human’s worth of hairs will fill up the dust bin. If you’re buying this to run continuously in your 3000 sq ft home; again you’re going to be very disappointed. Owning this particular model of the Roomba, there are going to be some limitations. You can’t compare a $200 product to a $700+ product and expect that they perform the same way with the same bells and whistles. If you’re looking for a robot vacuum that picks up the hairs and dust that life throws at you in between deep cleans, then this is for you. Customer Service with the iRobot team has also been great. I had some connectivity issues and they were super responsive and solution orientated. Read more 492 people found this

My Little Helper
Amazon customer· Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2026I am single and as such have to maintain my home and surroundings myself, and I like a tidy home. I don't always have time to vacuum every day, and with cats as pets I really would like to. I took this out of the box, charged it up and immediately put it to work. It was so easy to get started. I hit the power button and the Roomba started on it's way. I did not secure the dust whisk but after a few false starts realized I needed to push it until it clicked in place. I watched it find its way up and over the carpet floor from the wood floor with no issues. It seemed to strengthen in suction power on the carpet. It stopped when it bumped into furniture and redireted easily. I found if I blocked off the rooms it would do one room at a time. I pulled out the kitchen chairs and it made it's way under the table and around the chairs. It cleaned the round rug under the table with ease. I would hear it say "I am stuck" but then it got itself unstuck. I have not downloaded the app just yet as I am getting used to how it operates and cleans, and how to empty and clean and maintain it first. I found it fascinating to watch it find the way back to the dock on it's own. It speaks to you when it is ready to go home and when it is chargine. I have found one can set it to use lower electricity when charging by pressing the power button for 15 seconds. This comes with it's own brush and clip to remove hair. It is easy to empty. I am happy I now have a "helper" to assist me with my daily housework. I highly recommend this I-Robot Roomba if you would like rto kick your feet up and take a break while your home is getting vacuumed. Read more 27 people found this

It works alright for the cheaper model.
Amazon customer· Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2026No spoken audio I purchased this because I had one as a kid and was obsessed lol. Anyways yea I got the cheap model. It works okay. I have thick carpet so I almost always have to tell it to “deep clean” everything, otherwise it will often miss small pieces of dirt chips ect. The navigation does okay once you learn how it works. (You must press start from the power button on the vacuum cleaner and not in the app) for it to update the map if you move furniture items, etc. battery isn’t great. It can almost do my entire basement. And the recharging process is painful and slow. About 3 or 4 hours from dead to charged. And about 45min to 1 hour of run time on carpet. (I have never used the mop feature so I can’t comment) overall the vacuum is lightweight, that’s nice but also its downfall, due to this it doesn’t sit down, flush enough on thick and heavy carpet. It will often bounce or skid over it. (Which is why I often tell it to deep clean so it goes over the same area at least twice) Cleans well on hard floor, carpet is more of a challenge for this model. The app works okay, although the UI could be alot better/ advanced. They are cool and I will keep using it. Is it worth it? Depends. It does clean. It will clean while your away, although for the first several times, I would be at home or near the robot while it learns your house and it’s layout. For a quick clean up it’s it’s worth it. One day I wanna get the more advanced model.. but for almost 1K. I hope they receive more improvements. This model was only $120 for me at the time. Read more

Good product for the money.
Amazon customer· Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2026This is my second roomba, the set up for me was confusing. But shes really been good, hasn’t gotten stuck on anything and is really quite compared to my last roomba. She runs about 1 1/2 hours, recharges and finishes the job on 2000 sq ft

IRobot Roomba Floor Cleaner
Amazon customer· Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2026This modern Roomba is great for light floor cleaning. It is not a power scrubber like previous models I purchased that frequently broke down. But it is a vacuum and has a mopping pad that drags along a ceramic floor. It works adequately depending upon the cleaner placed in the machine. Do not mistakenly assume that tap water is going to clean your floors. Runs for a half hour and then returns to base for charging. A strange voice tells you that it is “Charging”. No instructions or manuals included with machine, but they will be emailed upon request. Either use the cord for initial charging or plug in the Base and be sure that the the two metal appendages on the machine are contacting the Base charging surfaces. Yeah, I would buy it again, but do not expect perfection. Read more 2 people found this
